— FIRST IMPRESSIONS —

APPEARANCE Standing at 6'7", Urianger is of relatively average height for an Elezen in terms of size and build. His ash-grey hair has grown out somewhat after a year spent in Abraxas: it is now long enough that he keeps it pulled away from his face in a loose bun, which highlights strong cheekbones and the warm gold of his eyes. Long, pointed ears protrude from beneath his hair, which marks him as noicably 'Elven' to those familiar with the term.

CLOTHING Urianger has a preference for long, dark robes decorated with gold stitching and embroidery, which he likes to wear with rings, bracelets, and layers of thin pendant necklaces. May also enjoy showing off his back with elegant backless gowns, but that's neither here nor there. Pinterest board here!

DEMEANOR There is a sense of soothing calm that seems to follow Urianger wherever he goes. He's the kind of man who rarely raises his voice (so if he does, you know it's bad), and carries himself with the easy grace of someone who knows exactly what they're doing and why they're doing it. He is focused and determined which can make him come across as somewhat serious, however these days his softer side usually becomes apparent upon a first conversation. He is learning to smile more, as well as learning how to be more honest about his emotions, needs, and wants, which has made him significantly warmer and less remote than he was a handful of years ago.

OLFACTORY Urianger carries with him the faint scent of warm incense, ink, and parchment, occasionally shot though with something botanical depending on how recently he visited the apothecary.

ASTROMANCY The Astrologian attunes their aetherial energy to the celestial bodies of a realm and, with the help of astral divination, uses the magicks to bend and weave fate. It is a form of soothsaying that has immediately practical results: Urianger uses a planisphere paired with Eorzea's Major and Minor arcana to read the fortunes of his allies, and can use those readings to alter the progress of a fight. In technical terms: it's a very sparkly healing class that also uses buffs to boost allies damage output, with a couple of astral-themed damage-dealing spells alongside it should he find himself cornered.

LITHOMANCY While those who train as Arcanists (Urianger's starting class in A Realm Reborn) usually branch into Summoner or Scholar, Lithomancer us a unique title given to Urianger's mastery of Summoning. As a result of his research he now has the power to summon what essentially amounts to the essence of Eorzea's fire, wind, and earth aspected Primals, which allows him to launch powerful elemental attacks on his enemies.

AETHERIAL MANIPULATION A spell that is part of the Black Mage's toolkit, with Urianger representing a notable exception. This allows him to manipulate his aether for the purpose of teleportation, presumably by tethering his own aether to that of an ally and using it to pull himself to their side. This spell will only work on allies within a range of 25 yalms and is restricted soley to the user.
